1. The service
Sidequest Journal is a shared quest log that lets groups of friends or partners log activity ideas, plan and complete them, rate them blindly, and track achievements, stats, and photo memories together. Sidequest Journal is operated by Cask Coded, s.r.o. (“we”, “us”).
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials safe. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Your content
You own the quests, ratings, photos, and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us the limited license we need to store, process, and display it back to you and the members of your group in order to operate the service. You’re responsible for what you upload — don’t post anything illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have the right to share.
4. Groups & invites
Content you add to a group (quests, ratings, photos) is visible to the other members of that group. You can invite people to a group via an invite link or email; anyone who accepts an invite gains access to that group’s content under these same terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Sidequest Journal to harass others, distribute malware, scrape the service, attempt to bypass access controls, or otherwise misuse it in a way that harms us or other users.
6. Termination
To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at studio@caskcoded.com; we will process the request without undue delay. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Sidequest Journal is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cask Coded, s.r.o. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
